Band Shoulder WheelThe right shoulder wheel is pictured here.
The exercise requires an elastic band which is held “locked” into the chest with the left hand while being.
grasped on the opposite end with the right hand in such a way that the right palm faces forward.
The elbow of the right arm is slightly bent.
Small circles are performed in strictly a backstroke direction.
If tolerated these circles, or wheels, should become larger with repetition.
Do repetitions until the arm is fatigued, wait one minute, then repeat.
Do a total of 3 sets at a frequency of once or twice per day.
Seated Spinal Twist
Keeping the hips relatively straight, grasp the chair arm and gradually walk your hands along toward the the back of the chair until a complete stretch is felt.
Hold 5 seconds.
Walk your hands back until you are again facing forward.
Repeat the above sequence to the opposite direction.
