The right-sided lumbar roll exercise is pictured. The exerciser keeps the shoulders flat on the floor while crossing the right leg toward the left until a point of resistance is reached at which the lower back is fully stretched causing the leg to stop. The exerciser keeps his leg at this point and slowly pulses the leg a very small amount further up to 20 times, then slowly returns the leg to the starting position. The exercise is repeated for the left leg. 3 sets for each leg are performed.
